Jackson Good Again

The Falcons opened the game by marching straight down the field and scoring a touchdown to take a 7-0 lead.  No worries though – the Vikings got the ball for their first possession and also charged down the field to score.  Tarvaris Jackson led the way, going 4/5 with a touchdown and looking very confident.  On the TD pass…Visanthe Shiancoe clearly did not break the plane with the ball before his elbow touched down but the Falcons chose not to challenge, a smart move given that the Vikes would’ve had the ball on about the half-yard line anyway and would’ve surely punched it in.  Adrian Peterson looks fired up today.  The run defense looks much softer up the middle without Pat Williams, as we expected.
