The Ins and Outs
Bernard Berrian missed a lot of practice this week with a bad ankle but will play this afternoon. Cedric Griffin also lost practice time with flu-like symptoms but is listed as active. Artis Hicks is active but Ryan Cook will start.
The Giants inactives are of more interest given all the debate over whether they should play starters or rest them. The guy we knew for sure was out was cornerback Aaron Ross…now we know Brandon Jacobs, TE Kevin Boss and DT Barry Cofield will also not play. There’s also a report, from ESPN’s Bob Holtzman (via PFT), that Eli Manning expects to only play the first half. This means a big dose of David Carr the second half. I like our chances against Carr.
