Also, Any time the words “brain trust” are used in this context, it should be written ” “brain trust” “… if spoken, air-quotes should be used.

I think there is no chance of T.O. ever playing for coach Childress ever again. If you remember, at the height of T.O.’s rantings and ravings in Philadelphia, he told his offensive coordinator to shut up and not to talk to him. That was Brad Childress.

I give Childress credit for his response, because he would then talk even more and he even shot barbs at him from the sideline. He won’t want that again.

I think there is almost no chance the Vikings would go after T.O. And I personally think it would be a mistake.

As a matter of fact, I don’t even think the Vikings need to look at a WR this offseason. We actually have a good mix: Berrian (speed), Wade (possession) and Rice (size/redzone threat). I think there offensive woes have more to do with the offensive game plan and QB. There’s no reason to waste salary cap space on another WR.

Go get a QB, RT and resign Birk. I think that is more realistic.
