One of the off-season’s biggest question has been: Who will start at right tackle for the Vikings in 2009? We know it won’t be Ryan Cook unless the organization has a big change-of-heart about him…and now we know it won’t be Jordan Gross who has just signed a new six-year contract with the Panthers. Gross was at the top of many people’s lists of potential free agent targets for the Vikes – but now he must be crossed off. This would seem to leave Miami Dolphins free agent Vernon Carey as the #1 name, with Ray Willis of the Seahawks as a dark horse.
