My first tier choice for Vikings QB are proven winning starters in the West Coast Offense: Farve, McNabb, Hasselbeck, Cutler and maybe Rodgers. None of these are currently available. My second tier choice would be other good QBs: Tom Brady, Kurt Warner, Drew Brees, Philip Rivers, Peyton Manning, Ben Roethlisberger, Carson Palmer, Tony Romo, Eli Manning and maybe Matt Ryan. I don’t think Carson Palmer is available but Kurt Warner might be! Third tier choices include experienced in the West Coast Offense: Garcia and Rosenfels. Maybe if Vikes are desperate but little chance for super bowl here.

Add Carson Palmer with Houshmandzadeh, I’d actually believe we’d be a shoe-in for the Superbowl! Now that the wishful thinking is over about Palmer, i think if the Rosenfels deal goes through, and we somehow do get Houshmandzadeh, all this offensive firepower could really put Sage over the top, i would still believe we’d have a legitimate shot at winning it all! Now let’s pray that the final pieces fall in place, so we can all start believin’. GO VIKINGS in 09′
