Moss did give us hope for a title, but they jinxed our placekicker at that time, Gary Anderson, because the announcers doing the Vikings-Falcons NFC Championship game, just had to say that he had'nt missed one all year, of course he then hooks a 37 yard chip-shot, which with all intent and purposes would have sealed that game, and a chance at a Superbowl win for us, but all us fans know the rest of the story. At least we could'nt blame Randy Moss for that one. I guess i'm old fashioned being a fan since 1970, and having to go through the agony of defeat=as a fan of course, but i probably would'nt want either of these guys on my team, unless they left their piss-poor attitudes at home, instead of on the field.

Mike, remember Randy Moss did the same thing for us in his later years, that is, crying about getting the ball, quitting on routes, and pouting about injuries. To his credit, coach Childress is a pretty strict disciplinarian. Well, Patriots coach Belicheck is the same way, then look at how fast Moss changed his attitude, and overblown ego. See what i'm saying? Coles can be transformed from crybaby real quick, by the right coach. If not, then hit the road, there's always another guy lookin' for a job.

The Vikes will stay clear of Coles. He did nothing but complain about his contract. He was always injured. Most importantly, he made the great Favre look bad by quitting on routes.

I think Coles could be that other receiver the Vikings need, to bolster the offense, he's got good hands and good speed, plus he's a proven veteran, and unlike Marvin Harrison, he doesn't have a dark cloud hanging over his head. Now with Sage, a new OT, then throw in Coles with Berrian add the awesome Adrian Peterson, now were talkin' playoff advancement, and more, if Sage becomes a leader, and our defense rises up again like last season.
