Brad Johnson's Career Probably Just Ended

PFT reports that the Cowboys have just cut back-up quarterback Brad Johnson, clearing $1.5 million in cap space (which they’re gonna need if they want to sign Ray Lewis).  Brad is 40 now and coming off a season in which he posted a 50.5 QB rating in 3 appearances – in other words, it’s probably time for him to segue into life after football.  He can do so with his head held high – and a Super Bowl ring on his finger (and almost 30,000 career passing yards).  It was too bad things had to end somewhat acrimoniously between him and the Vikings, but that was really Brad Childress‘s fault anyway.
