The man believed to be A-numero-uno on the Vikings‘ free agency wish list, Ravens center/guard Jason Brown, has been informed by his old team that they will not seek to re-sign him, meaning he will hit the market starting tonight at 11 PM central. Several teams are believed to covet Brown, including the Buffalo Bills and Miami Dolphins. Were the Vikings to sign Brown, they could play him at guard, bumping Anthony Herrera to the bench, and retain Matt Birk to play center. Or they could slide Brown in at center and keep Herrera at guard, bringing an end to Birk’s 11-year Vikings career.
