The Vikings need a proven QB, not faith. For every super bowl won by a Dilfer or a Brad Johnson there are 5 won by a Brady, Manning, Big Ben, Warner, Elway, Favre, Aikman, Young and Montana. Moreover, QBs Dilfer and Johnson were vets that managed the games along with mediocre WRs while relying on dominant defenses (rated 1 and 2). The Vikings plan of wasting high-priced WRs by relying on neophyte QBs to throw to them and a good but not dominant defense is likely not a prescription for a super bowl. And the reason Chilly is throwing away a super bowl is because his pride won’t let him admit he made a mistake by choosing T-Jack as the franchise QB. He will do anything he can to surround T-Jack with talent to make him a success but will do nothing to replace him with talent. Rosenfels is just a backup to push his stupid pet project. I refuse to have faith in such delusional prideful thinking.
