Update: Houshmandzadeh to Sign With Seattle? Don't Believe Everything Player-Bloggers Write.

AUTHOR: | IN: Rumors | COMMENTS: 4 Comments |

Former Bengals DT John Thornton says on his blog All Pro Blogger that T.J. Houshmandzadeh has made up his mind, and will sign with a “West Coast” team.  That would tend to indicate Seattle…unless John is hazy on his geography and thinks Minneapolis is actually on the ocean.  Of course this is hardly confirmation.  And, last we heard, T.J. was still at Winter Park being given the tour.  So you can believe Mr. Thornton or not.

Update:  John Thornton has retracted his earlier assertion that T.J. Houshmandzadeh had signed with a west coast team, presumed to be Seattle, and now says he’s out of the breaking news business.  Here’s what I learned from the experience:  Just cause a guy used to be teammates with a guy, that doesn’t mean he knows what’s going on with that guy.  Oh, and bloggers are full of it.  But then I already knew that from reading myself.

I guess Housh doesn't appear to be leaving town yet as he's still being limo'd around and word is from bengals.com that he may not decide till mon.

no dummy, i think he meant the west coast as in geography

hmmm....do you possibly think that west coast could possibly be something other than geographic.  In football we do have a thing called "West Coast offense" as well.

Access Vikings implies that Seattle is now out of the mix. And that only the Vikings and Bengals remain in the running. Houshmandzadeh remians in Winter Park as of now.
