Cutler Drama: Coach Sitdown Still Hasn't Happened

Remember all that fence-mending Broncos coach Josh McDaniels was supposed to do with his quarterback Jay Cutler after it came out that McDaniels wanted to move Cutler in exchange for Matt Cassel and Cutler got all mad about it?  Well it still hasn’t started, according to the Denver Post.  By now coach and player were at least supposed to have had a sitdown, but even that preliminary gesture has yet to occur.  And until it does, people like me are going to continue trying to guess what this all means for Cutler’s relationship with his coach and organization.

Given the lack of even mildly interesting free agent options remaining, the only way for the Vikes to make a big splash this off-season would be via trade, either to get an established player like Cutler or to move up in the draft and grab a name guy like Mark Sanchez.  I’m sure all this quarterback speculation is a load of fun for Sage Rosenfels and Tarvaris Jackson, eh?

Please find a way to bring Cutler to the Vikings. I want us to draft him but denver jumped us to get him. Finally an answer for plenty of years to come for the QB position

Add Cutler and Torry Holt and Vikes are a Super Bowl bound team in 09′ baby!

I agree with you guys 100% that we gotta make the deal for Jay Cutler, then add the extra WR, Holt would be a great addition, but keep Rosenfels as backup, I think Jackson should be part of the Cutler trade, he’s had his chance, time to move on. If Ziggy makes this deal, the Vikings should be in great shape to win in the playoffs, then take our first Super Bowl title, a long time waiting for me personally, as a fan since 1970.
