Belichick also deliberately screwed his former Vice President of Player Personnel and now Kansas City Chiefs general manager Scott Pioli by conning him to take Cassel and his big contract off his hands. I was hoping Belichick would have to eat that contract and his bluff after franchising the unworthy Cassel to get some draft picks. For a while there, I thought he might screw the Vikings back for past differences, but when word leaked out that Cassel was just a shotgun QB, he had to settle for stabbing his friends in the back even if it was only a second round pick.
