Cutler likely demanded the trade to the Bears. Cutler didn’t want to play for the Browns because Mangini didn’t mesh with Brett Favre, who also is represented by Bus Cook.

Not buying in, just saying that, thus far, the sleep-deprived conspiracy theory is still on track.

To be honest, it would feel like a betrayal if Brett were to play for the Vikings. Largely because it would REALLY seem like it was a vengeance thing. I want to remain a Favre fan but an action such as this would not help my position. He is/was, arguably, the best quarterback to play the game but it is hard to be behind someone if they do something against another hero(s) that you hold dear (The Packers). It’s akin to Superman killing Ironman (or insert your own super heros).

JT, you are not buying Danzinski’s conspiracy theory, are you? I was kidding that Brett Favre was involved, just playing into Danzinski’’s paranoia. Besides now Danzinski is blaming sleep deprivation for his dellusions. Brett Favre is our quarterback and a gentleman!

Looks like all this is coming to fruition. The Broncos are going to release Cutler which opens the door to the Jets being so grateful to Favre/Cook for their work to get Cutler that they will release Favre if he wants to play for the Vikings. Not that I am opposed to Favre playing for the Vikings but that could be a death-move for him as it pertains to his image as an example of sportsmanship. His “good-guy” image will be blown!

Actually, your post about the Vikings getting involved in a 3 way trade for Cutler and then nixing the deal could also be part of the master plan to upset Cutler so they could get Favre in the end.

Danzinski, you can put another dot into the consiracy with news reports now claiming Favre has been texting Mangini - maybe to arrange for Brady Quinn to go the Broncos.

I see your point on all counts. First, isn’t it funny how bold people become when there are no repercussions?! Second, you are correct, there is a drought of quality QB’s. Of course that is always the case for most teams in the NFL at any given time. We can’t all have the best QB in the game. To that, I couldn’t blame you guys for wanting Favre, even if it is for one season.

Lol, I have fun jabbing my neighbor and a couple buddies at work, Some fans on theblogs, I call it Fan Rage almost like Road Rage but safer , People are behind their computers or labtops instead of a steering wheel… Anyways, after the drought Qb’s we have had for a while, I can handle the Favre-isms for a while.

I am the same as you. I don’t mind having a conversation about our respective teams. I openly admit when the Packer’s suck (a lot recently). I give crap to the Packer’s opponent fans when they visit (in a good humor-fashion, of course). I am like most fans, I think. It is when people get out of hand in the bashing of each other that the good-natured ribbingbecomes irritating & makes you never want to deal with “other fans” ever again (i’m sure you’ve experienced it at some point).

ANYWAY, would Favre be able to help the Vikings, I’m sure he couldn’t hurt but I can tell you all from experience, it is a lot of headaches dealing with all the Favre-isms (that is the short way to talk about most of what you’ve heard in the media & a lot more you haven’t or don’t understand until you’ve experinced it firsthand).
