If Chilly would just get a starter-caliber QB, much better RT, vet possession WR and decent fullback all of this waste of talent, disappointment and fan animosity could be avoided. The wierd thing is the Vikings know they should be doing it and yet for some reasons, probably partly because of Chilly’s stubborness and pride, it never gets done. Apparently, Chilly nixed QB Cutler and ignored WRs Engram and Holt and FB Weaver. We have to threaten Zigi’s wallet until he forces Chilly to relent. Like when the fans pressured Zigi to force to replace T-Joke with Frerotte last year after going 0-2. But this time the fans need to pressure the Vikings before the season begins. Then we can really boo Chilly next season. The fans are the ultimate bosses so we must complain and not admire Childress for his stubborness and pride!

Even though I HATE Chilly, I have to admire him. He is sticking his “neck” on the chopping block. He will have a long career as a coach if he is right and if he is wrong he will be canned. If it were my job, I would like the opportunity to make my own decisions on personnel, play calling, everything.
I think this will be another year of wasted talent and another year of disappointment.
