Nick, The Vikings had many great teams under the great coaching of Bud Grant. The Purple People Eaters were the greatest defense assembled for years, regardless of not winning any Super Bowls. To say the Vikings have no greatness is a crock. Many of the great players like Alan Page, Carl Eller, Jim Marshall, Fran Tarkenton, Bill Brown, Stu Voight, Ron Yary, Wally Hilgenburg, Scott Studwell, Chuck Foreman, Gene Washington, Matt Blair, Sammy White, Randle McDaniel, Chris Doleman, Chris Carter, Anthony Carter, Joey Browner, and many, many more great stars, many whom already have a place in the Pro Football Hall of Fame. Now, tell me the Vikings have no greatness. I agree with Chuck, you Cajun swamp- monsters ought to think about the crap you spew about other teams, when your Saints had'nt even been close to the Super Bowl---ever, and when the Aints' finally made the playoffs, Wade Wilson and the Vikings crushed the 10-point favorites in their own Super Dome, remember that game Mo jo?

It's a pattern with D Sharper. The Pack saw his skills dropping off and let him go. He went to Minn. and started shooting his mouth off. What a nice guy. . . until you get rid of him and he takes it out on the former team. He's a wash out and New Orleans seems to be a good place to go for washed up DBs.

Being a Packer fan, AP is the real deal as long as he stays healthy. Even I would love to see AP run Sharper over!

mr.west

first- lets not talk about the hurricane it's got little to do with football. second-coaches need to believe in players, but they should keep an open mind , and provide competition. the saints faced a similar situation with arron brooks, the coach put blinders on and entrusted the team to him, traded jake deloume (who out performed him)to take the pressure off. then he didn't bring in a quality guy to challenge him. as a result the saints wasted 4 years.your D is great, but they have a window, the same is true for AP.the longer ya'll wait to replace the QB the smaller the window gets.

and mojo

your team is a charity case. as far as TAVARIS, chilly believes in him there is nothing wrong with that. in order for a team to be successful a coach must believe in his players and he is only in what his 3rd year. he was a project to start with. its not like he came into the league with a matt ryan type expectations. if a player is in the nfl they r there for a reason.
