Pat Williams said he would welcome Favre with open arms, which could only be as the starter. Moreover, he said “He’s still one of the greatest quarterbacks to ever play” and said that Tarvaris could be great. It is becoming more and more obvious that Brett Favre is preferred by most Vikings players – Antoine Winfield, Bernard Berrian, Adrian Peterson, Ben Leber and now Pat Williams (although maybe not Greenway) – even though they can’t come right out and say it.
