Yes, even Deion Sanders, a neutral observer, concluded Ed Werder was making up the TO-Witten stories to try to ruin the Cowboy’s season. Maybe, Werder is trying to ruin the Vikings season. Let’s keep him out of town.

Jim, no Ed Werder is essentially called Childress a liar on NFL Live. But now Werder is saying Childress wanted Favre in for the OTAs even though Favre didn’t even know if he could play or was on the team. Strange.

Is ESPN finally backtracking? Admitting they screwed this up? Or another cover up?

This made absolutely no sense. How could ESPN come out with this ridiculous story. They are liking themselves to a tabloid magazine.

Doug Flutie may have it right that we just have to get through this offseason stuff. Flutie said Favre has “a cannon for an arm.” Flutie went on to offer this piece of advice to his good friend. “You never retire at the end of the season, give it a little time. Everybody feels that way at the end of the season, I played until I was 43, he’s only 39, just quit retiring and keep playing. If you feel like retiring before camp starts, then retire. The problem is that he probably doesn’t want to go through all these stupid mini-camps and offseason stuff they make you go through and I can fully understand it. I have no problem with him coming back and playing, because he can still play.”
