That was fast.

Per Mike Florio, league sources are saying Tarvaris Jackson has already had an MRI on the knee he hurt in practice today, and the injury is being characterized as an MCL sprain.  Severity yet to be determined.

    Already the Sageophiles are vulturing over T-Jack’s poor misfortune.   An injury is the only way that career backup Sage will win the job even over T-Joke.  Call Mississippi!

    It was great news, but they say he will be back next week practicing again. Tjoke is starting to sound like a precious china doll, just leave him on the shelf where he belongs and do whatever it takes to get Brett into a Purple Jersey

    All I have to say is Holy crap the season has not even started and there is so much drama that i feel like i am watching tv with my grandma on a monday afternoon.

     I think he was nevous and is starting to settle down,  With all the Brett news hanging over him and the chance to start was a little much at the time… Remember Tarvaris has had 4 years  in the system, Makes a difference

    watch out now. when you get acl-mcl probs you over compensate. the hammy is’nt far behind. i think 2-3 weeks of limited action. sage starts-farve comes to camp in 3 weeks and takes over. jax could be done? any questions? any answers? any slams? vikeman is at camp. he said jax slipped and twisted. it did’nt look good at the time. he got alot of attention and limped. that says tear to me. he said as soon as it happened, everyone started to mention “farve, farve”

    well a sprain usually means stretched the ligament and then it swells. tear could be if the stretch was bad enough. that takes 2-3 weeks longer then a stretch. maybe more for the not so quick healer.? the mri would reveal that, although that does’t mean we will know the real results of it. (camp hush). but you damn well know farve is getting communication as we speak. he IS STILL WORKING OUT. WHY??????????????????????

    the trainers were very concerned, even after looking at it for a while. an experienced trainer knows a sprain from a tear? we shall see. if it is a tear? jax is done in minny. sage starts for now. and farve will be here in 2-3 weeks. thats my call, i don’t think there will be any arguement on that????? if so, the floors yours.——————–any takers???????

    Let’s try not to hope for Tavaris to be hurt bad please. I want Favre to play for the Vikes worse than anyone but I’d never be excited that someone might be hurt bad. Favre is coming in at some point. Minnesota can’t be stupid enough not to bring in free agent QB’s to try and make the team could they? They must have something going on behind the scenes. Passing on bringing in guys like Chase Daniel as a free agent tells me either Minnesota is stupid or they know Favre is coming. I hope it is the later.

    Had surgery said no my ankles hurt and my knees hurt it is a quote he is not playing the dream is done!!!

    yeah, vikeman said he will probably sit for awhile. at this point they don’t want to take any chances. they want to see if the swelling goes down fast. then he should be fine. but if the swelling would persist? well then there’s tear damage? i do hope jax is ok too, but this is what will inevitably get farve to get to camp sooner then later. oh, and brent…..eat it already……farve is notorious for not being in camp…….he does like to play though, and this would be his greatest challenge of all. i expect him to take it. so do alot of others. people that are close to the situation are still anticipating him too. when he does, we expect never to hear from you again, thank you.

    Ok I am a man so i will come to this site later in fact I will ad it to my favorites i will be here and i will let you know that you can say whatever you want if he comes back but i am telling you he is done. 
    If he misses all of training camp and does not know the offense he will not play.
    Think about it he at least needs the timing with the receivers. There is the playbook that he has not cracked yet an d if he is coming back it will have to be in the next two weeks in order to get things in order. When will you think that he is not coming week one, two, three. Give me a prediction so that I know when to check back.

    I’m saying Favre signs two weeks prior to the season starting. And leave ole Brent alone. All the Packer fans can’t stand the thought of Brett Favre in a Vikings jersey coming into Lambeau field and kicking the shit out of them. Can you hear the footsteps Brent? That shadow in the darkness is Favre laughing at ya.

    Actually, Packer fans don’t fear Brett anymore.  This is mostly because they know what he is, their D knows what he is, and while they aren’t excited against the idea of playing against him, it’s not as bleak as you point it out.

    No, this is more like your rival dating your ex.  As much as you are over her and moved on it’s still a bit of a punch to the gut.

    Oh, and the Vikes have moved on.  Unless this knee thing ends T-Jack’s season AND Sage goes down the only#4 that will be seen in purple is John David Booty.

    Does it matter if I am a Packer fan or not?  You have not listened to any logic or argument that goes against your thoughts and have tried to bully or belittle any counter viewpoint.  I know why you do this too Mike, your argument is weak.  Very weak actually, you see the boat has left on the Favre.  The stats point to it.  The games point to it.  Everything points to it, and the Vikings would have regressed the franchise if he had shown up here. 

    For the record though I am a Packer fan.  I have not insulted the Vikings, just their choices, and I do respect the team.  I have been civil, but if you really want to get dirty, I can get dirty Mike. 

    Oh and I am holding you to that bet…Oct. 1.  He won’t be there then either.

    devin if you are so sure that farve is not coming, why does he continue to work out? so he can be in top shape for riding his lawn mower? come on. your’re telling everyone to grow a spine? well stop looking thru green colored glasses. the packers did 2 things to farve. no 3……they moved on after he said he was retiring. they did’nt waver when he said he was coming back. when they moved on they limited him where he could go. last year. now he’s free. he wants to show thompson and the pack that they were wrong about him. thay may have been right to go with rodgers, don’t get me wrong, but this is in farves mind. he’s got a burn in the physcy…….he has to prove this. so again why does he continue to work out. he may now think he can’t, but as the season(camp) progresses, he will get stronger and more antsi. jackson is hurt. he want’s to get past camp. once all this occurs you know damn well he’ll be at least thinking about it. and at that point, he’ll jump in. this is farve devin……if you are a packer fan you know everything i just laid out is probably right? so mike is backing farve cause he has seen the damage over the years he has done to the vikes. he knows what he is still capable of. as a football fan, i’ve followed farve too. i and several 1000 more like me think that this will be just too much for farve to pass. whether he CAN or not. devin, you and guys like brent come on here and say farve ain’t comin back. well, prove your facts then, facts! mike and i and others have solid leads to say he will be back. you guys just SAY he won’t. wheres your facts.?
