Same here, you guys have kept the favre hope in me..lol,, I was almost ready to give up b/c i had everyone telling to give it up and let it go  and i was about ready too but then i would come on here and you guys espically dave would reassure me and i once again had hope ..  i just hope this is true and brett will be joining us soon! and if not i will be disappointed once again lol. j/k

Mike is missed very much... i just wish danzinski would let him back... :'( miss ya mike... I've been tellin my friends Favre was coming to us since April 27 and even though there were reports of him not coming back you guys kept hope in me.... and now its paid off! Thank you Mike and Dave!

I always knew brett would be back after following him for 18 years i knew he wouldn't have surgery if he hadn't planned on coming back and i know how much he hates training camp, i figured once training camp was over he would eventually be back and i still belive he will. all day 28 & Dallas dave we had faith he would be back and i think he will now just hopefully sooner wither than later hopefully before the third preseason game, i just wish mike was here right now he never gave up hope on favre and he was right about everything all along about training camp and everything . we miss you mike!

I agree Supafan, i also am guilty of jumping on the Favre wagon, but he dissapointed a lot of fans, including myself with his decision not to return. Another change of heart by Favre now may hurt the Vikings team, mentally. These Super Bowl scenarios had many excited, but some disagreed. Once he made the call, he really got fans fighting with each other, we don't need that.

Dave, you are really in for a fight in the NFC East now that the Redskins have updated their defense bigtime=in the middle with Al Hanesworth from Tennesee. I don't think the Redskins QB has enough talent to lead them beyond the playoffs, though.

After Childress said, "That door is closed," and  "we are moving forward with the quarterbacks that we have."   His credibility would be shot if Farve were to be signed to the squad.  
Especially if Farve acts the way he did in NY.  He alienated his teammates, and after they got to know him and worked with him they too understood that he isn't a team player.  
If brought in he will surly do the same here, Piss off everyone on the team and leave the locker room divided .  At least then Ziggy will see the error of his ways, and send Brett and Brad packing.

Sage looked pretty good against the Colts, hopefully he can develop quickly and learn the offense, he showed some potential in the game, at least we can give him a chance to earn the top spot. As far as the Danz and Mike feud, Mike should'nt harass Danz to the point he did with the profanity-laced e-mails. On the other hand, Danz does'nt like Favre, whatsoever. As Vikings fans, we all can't agree on every topic, let them hash it out for awhile, maybe they can find some common ground somewhere down the line. Right now we gotta go with Sage and hope for the best. It's funny, my brother Bob and i are Vikings fans, yet we disagree on the Favre issue, but not to the point of anger.

i was'nt going to let this out, but it is on public notice. vikeman says that realestate records show that brett and deanna farve did make a lease on a town house in minnesota. my wife also said that deanna and her sister???? were seen at the mall of america recently for a shopping day. my wife's area of expertiece. so there you have it.....look it up if you don't believe me

Spanky,  In all fairness to Romo, he has a lot of talent, but every year there is one woman or another that distracts him right at the end of the season, or in the playoffs against Seattle. It just seems to bring out the worst in him, with costly turnovers, player fueds,etc. My suggestion to him would be, either marry one of these bimbos, or wait until after the season is over, that way the tabloids would leave him alone for awhile. As far as i'm concerned being a Vikings fan, i hope he continues to date these bimbos throughout the year, just so we don't have to see our longtime nemisis(Cowboys) in the playoffs, of course it would be in our favor to have one of his dates in the stands if we did meet. Spanky, who would  you choose before the game,  Jessica  Simpson' or the empty-headed American Idol Carrie?

I do believe me, others,  and MIKE tried to tell everyone that he would be back. The Im staying retired thing was just to get the media to go away and die down. after the 3rd preseason game he will be back, he will come in and practice a bit and might even play in the last preseason game for a series or two that way he and the WR's can get some kind of timing down. It will be great

I’m sick of the “Days of our Favre” soap opera too…and I think he’s become a bit of a diva.  With all that said…bottom line…we all know #4 gives us the best shot to play in February.  Experience, leadership, and the players knowing he can get them there.  I’m sick of it too guys…and he really shafted us…but on in the last quarter of the NFC Championship game, 2 min to go, down by 6and on your own 10 yd line…who would you rather have? Sage, TJ, or Favre.  Enough said!

spanky, come on don't be a dumbass. at least don't show everyone you are. and i won't call anyone that unless i can prove it. you did it for me already. romo maybe a lot of things but "bum" is'nt one of them. he's an undrafted free agent from a small school in div II? ever since he's started for dallas he's proven he belongs in the bigs. comeon.......4 games???? we won 13 2 seasons ago. he was hurt for 4 games this last year and still ranked in the top 10 in the nfl and had 25 tds. where are you getting your info besides pulling it out from your ass. we will be in for a fight in the nfc east. we maybe in for a fight for a wildcard spot as far as it goes. but i do believe as well as most others as well, we'll be in the hunt for the playoffs. so go back to your closet and spank it some more, cause you ain't makin sence here.

Like I've said ALL along.... Favre will be in a few weeks before the season starts. NOBODY goes through surgery (successful)  and everything else and then doesn't play.
