Vikings Will Look to Trade Tarvaris Jackson

AUTHOR: | IN: Rumors | COMMENTS: 3 Comments |

Jason La Canfora of NFL.com believes the Vikings will hold onto all their quarterbacks for the time being, but will ultimately shop Tarvaris Jackson, who went from possible starter to low-level trade bait in precisely the amount of time it took for Brett Favre to slap his signature onto a contract.

La Canfora thinks the Vikings are still a tiny bit leery of Favre’s arm situation, hence their unwillingness to part with any of their QB depth until they’ve seen Favre and his frayed rotator cuff in some preseason game action.

An earlier report from Charley Walters said the Vikes would ship T-Jack out of town by Friday, but since no one believes a word Charley Walters says, that report can pretty safely be dismissed.

The Rams, Bears, Jaguars and Bengals are all being put forth as possible destinations for T-Jack.  Don’t look for more than a late-round pick in return.

personally, I think they shouldn't trade Tarvaris Jackson. He makes a really good backup QB. Since he has good speed and a power arm, they can have him mentored under Brett Favre which will provide him his focus, accuracy, and awareness. I bet if they keep Jackson under Favre's watch, he could be the next Franchise QB whenever Favre retires or gets hurt.

I want this bogus sight shut down. Tick, tick....done

Give him to the pack they'll need someone when we knock the shit out of Rodgers, plus we know all you have to do is put a lil blitzin on T-Joke and he T-Chokes
