Favre‘s illegal block against Eugene Wilson has sparked plenty of discussion.  Was it a dirty play or merely a stupid one?  Should the Vikings scrap the Wildcat now that Favre is the quarterback?  Is it smart to have your 39-year-old frayed-rotator-cuff-suffering QB trying to throw blocks in preseason?

How sick are the Houston Texans of Vikings players taking out their guys’ knees?

    I would have to say it was clearly a dirty play. I mean old man favre has been in the league for nearly twenty years, he knows better than that. Unless favre is experiencing some Alzheimer’s, there’s no excuse.

    Retribution is coming. It was cheap. You know those cracked ribs??? Well… it’s on now. I imagine those cracked ribs will be broken by the middle of the season leaving the Vikes at another strong year of 8 and 8. Should have just left Sage or TJ be the qb this year. Carma is a B*$ch.

    Will the Queens ever get a “real” QB? Hope you enjoy the “Sloppy Seconds..errr thirds”. It will be absolutely awesome to watch the numbers that Aaron Rodgers puts up vs. what Brent Farve will do. SUCKERS!!!!!

    Favre played well in the first half with dink and dunk-type passes, but when he pulled that stunt with the crack-back block, cutting the knees of that young defensive back for the Texans in an exhibition game on top of all that, i thought to myself that Danz might of been right all along. Do we need this ego-maniac as our leader? Yeah, i’m forced to root for him cause’ i’m a Vikings fan, but to blatantly try to wreck a young man’s career because your stupid ego got the best of you again, you really pissed a lot of people off Favre, and those players aint gonna forget anytime soon. That being said, you need to get off your glorified high horse, i’m gonna save the world attitude, then publicly apologize for your stupididty, and apologize to all the Vikings’ fans that you humiliated in the process, then maybe we can move on.
