Chris Mortensen just fed Viking fan pessimism by reporting that Antoine Winfield could miss a month with an injury to his foot. That injury is now being characterized as a fracture rather than a sprain, though Mortensen says it is not the dreaded Lisfranc, which is a combination fracture/dislocation.
Needless to say, Winfield is now officially out for this afternoon vs. the Steelers. Asher Allen better be pretty damn good.
