OR - you're full of CRAP!!!!!!!!!!!

Analysts all over TV and the net have acknowledged that the interception in largely the fault of the receiver that let a well-thrown ball pass directly through his hands and into a defender's.

The interception is a heads-up play by defence, though farve is responsible for holding ball out, pump-faking, and pulling it in. This is not a bad play, however, and is what happens from time-to-time against good, aggressive defenses.

Are you a sharon rogers/TT, MM ball-licker?

[...] fans at home are…falling over themselves to forgive Favre for the negative 4th quarter plays. (Other reasonable analysts call him out.) [...]

Don't worry, favre and the vikings will steamroll the packers. The players that are left will be too busy ball-licking teddy thompson and mike murphy.

It's pretty hard to keep your eye on the football when you constantly have balls bouncing off your chin.

And sharon rogers will hold on to the ball all day until: (a) somebody gets so wide open that even a high school quarterback could make the play. (b). he gets his @ss creamed.

Strong analysis as usual -- good job.

The Vikes had such an amazing red zone offense during their first five games and it seemed that Favre could do no wrong when the Vikes in close. But starting in the 2nd half against the Ravens, the Vikings have suddenly lost their red zone mojo. We faulted the conservative playcalling against the Ravens, but Favre also missed Rice on what looked like a gimmie -- Rice one-on-one in the right corner posting up his defender. I know the defense looked pathetic in the 4th Q of that game, but it wouldn't have mattered if the Vikings had converted that 3rd down endzone play rather than settling for FGs.

Against the Steelers, I couldn't believe we tried passing to Tahi and Kleinsasser in the endzone. Where was Shaincoe, Rice, Harvin, Lewis? I realize it's nice to exploit seldom-used players to fool the defense, but hey c'mon. On the replay, you can see Purple Jesus trying (and failing per usual) to block someone, rushing Favre into an early throw ... that hits Kleinsasser in the hands and bounces off. That was freakin ugly and should have never been called on a critical 3rd down. Maybe on 2nd and goal or 1st down at the 35 yard line. But on 3rd and goal from the 1, you either smash it through with AD following a Kleinsasser block, or play action to someone WITH RELIABLE HANDS. Play smart -- either run the ball with your All Pro or put your best pass catchers in a position to make a play in the endzone. (To be fair, Chilly was presumably trying to make the Steelers think run by using Dugan and 'sasser as TEs instead of Shiancoe.)

The Vikes will be facing a confident Packers D that has Atari Bigby back at FS after missing the 1st game. It's critical that the Vikes regain their red zone mojo on Sunday. (And fix that weak ass deep zone in the secondary). Go Vikes!
