Even while enjoying their bye week, good things keep happening on the field for the Vikings.
The good things I refer to are a pair of somewhat stunning losses just suffered by the Purple’s two main opponents in the NFC North. Down in Tampa, the Packers failed to mount a late rally against the previously winless Buccaneers, and lost 38-28. Meanwhile, in Chicago, the Bears got their butts absolutely handed to them by the Arizona Cardinals, despite Jay Cutler’s 369 yard, 3 TD performance.
I’m not sure which development was more shocking: the Packers going all Redskins and handing the Bucs their first win, or the Bears getting destroyed 41-21 at home. I do know that the Vikings are now 3 games up in the division with 8 to play.
Yes, it’s too soon to start printing up those back-to-back NFC North champion t-shirts. But the Vikings are definitely in the driver’s seat.

What are you on, freak? One minute you apologize, the next you say something stupid, xpackerfan. You should've stuck to your horrible Packers, cause' you're not welcome on Purple web sites. I thought my prediction was pretty accurate last year, stupid, accept for the fact that T-Jack blew it for us, but i did pick the Steelers, and they won. Hey you freak, until you've been in a pro camp yourself, like i was with New England, for a free agent tryout, don't try to tell me you know anything about football, until your candy-a#s has been in the trenches, you don't know sh#t. Unless you've got something about football to add to the blog, go somewhere else and play your little harassing games, cause it's obvious you know nothing about football, especially Viking football. Do you even know who Mic Tinglehoff was? How about Joe Kapp, Chuck Foreman or Alan Page? I thought so, you're no Vikings' fan, so go blow away in the wind you pussy.
