Vikings-Cardinals Game Getting Bumped to Prime Time

There’s no question the Vikings have been one of this season’s prime time teams.  And now, in reflection of that status, the league has used its flex scheduling powers to bump Minnesota’s December 6th clash with the Arizona Cardinals from the 3:15 Central time slot to the coveted Sunday night 7:20 NBC featured game position.

To make room for that potentially pivotal Vikes-Cards game, the league has moved the Patriots-Dolphins match-up to noon on CBS.  Yes Viking fans, it’s really true:  your team is more important than the Patriots, at least in the eyes of the NFL and NBC.

The Favre effect strikes again.

I’m glad that the media finally acknowledges that the Vikings have a great team, but it’s going to take some wins in the playoffs, and of course a Super Bowl victory for these clowns to finally tell us that we are indeed the best team in the NFL. I hope we bash the Cardinals, just like last year, only this year, i think this team is much more mature, and more talented with the Harvin and Favre additions, along with a better offensive line. Just watch our defensive line pummel Warner, and their defense is pretty weak, no way they can stop our offense, no matter what time the game is played. One way we can benefit from prime time is a prelude to Miami, the Super Bowl usually starts at 6:30 PM.

Bernie, let us no forget the maturing of Sidney Rice.

Mike, I certainly did not mean to leave Sidney Rice’s name out of the mix, i was only talkin’ about the new aquisitions, but you’re right, what a difference a year makes= is that the same Sidney Rice from a year ago? Man, this guy catches everything that’s thrown his way. Over 200 yards in receiving against Detroit, are you kidding me? I never thought that an all-pro like Berrian would have to, kind’ve take a back seat in this talent-loaded tandem of WR’S, Te’s, etc.

Why are ther no odds on the Vikings Cardinals game?

  • http://Pennsylvania bernie jelinek

Mel, that has changed in the latest line by oddsmakers having the Vikings favored by 3.5 points in the spread, while over and under was 48.5 on total points. I could’nt understand the delay either, but i guess they think the Cardinals are better then i think, but i would be surprised if Minnesota does’nt win by at least 2 scores.
