They gave up the notion that they were a "power running" team. They are not.

AD, a feast or famine runner that can't catch the ball, is being used properly here. 7 carries - one breakout of 23 yards, but most for negative yards. It all averages out to be a respectable 4.5 yards per carry.

BUT DON'T LET IT FOOL YA - without the long run, he is averaging 1.5 yds/carry. And without his second longest run today (was it 6-7), he is in the red.

Brett has spead the ball around, running this offense the way it was designed to be utilized. It has nothing to do with disguising anything.

The key is to not let Peterson create three-and-outs and let your gunslinger do what he does best.

271 first half yards, 3 touchdowns. They are unstoppable if they let Favre do his thing this way.

I am sure some homer will come here and disrespect what Favre has brought to the team by making some insane statement that does not acknowledge the difference a playmaker has on the entire team.

I believe the "disguise blah blah blah" junk that has been posted here is an example. As long as Brett is allowed to run the offense and the team acknowledges AD's limitations by not pretending to be a "power running" team, they are an elite team.

Anything else makes them just another poorly coached organization. AD has a role in this teams success this year, but not as the offense's premier weapon.
