Draft Day: Bills Could Trade Ahead of Vikings to Grab Tim Tebow?

If Brad Childress really wants Tim Tebow as much as some have suggested, he may have to swing a deal to get it done.

That’s because, according to insider scuttlebutt, the Buffalo Bills covet Tebow, and are trying to trade up into the first round to get him.

Wesley Bunting of the National Football Post says the Jets are the Bills’ desired trade partner. The Jets draft one spot ahead of the Vikings in the first round.

It doesn’t take a genius to connect the dots on this one: The Bills think the Vikes will take Tebow, so they’re trying to move ahead of Minnesota.

The Bills already have a first round pick, but that 9th overall selection is far too high for Tebow.

And if the Bills do somehow swing a deal and snatch Tebow away from the Vikes? That, some might argue, would be a case of the Vikings being saved from themselves.

We’ll see what Wheeler-Dealer Chilly has up his sleeve.
