Brad Childress Wants a Closer Look at Tim Tebow
Opinion is divided on Tim Tebow. Those who love him point out his fiery leadership ability, his athleticism, his grit and high moral character. Those on the anti-Tebow side argue that, though he was a brilliant college player, his skills aren’t the kind that would make for a great NFL quarterback. It is certainly up-in-the-air whether Tebow should be thought of as a legit QB prospect or a mere gimmick player who will never have a major impact in the pros. Brittany Favre Gives Brett a Grandchild
Brett Favre already had the silver hair and gimpy limbs of a grandfather, and now he has the actual grandchild, thanks to daughter Brittany. The new addition to the Favre family, Parker Brett, arrived April 2 according to the Old Gunslinger’s website. In case you were wondering, the baby weighed in at 7 lbs., 7 oz. Because, if the new speculation proves valid, McNabb could end up in purple anyway, after a one-year stint in Washington. This speculation – and that’s all it is at this point – [...]
The Vikings‘ offensive depth took a big hit when Chester Taylor bolted to join Jay Cutler, Mike Martz and the Bears. Plan A for replacing Chester was to sign LaDainian Tomlinson, but in the end, LT preferred the Jets. Plan B for replacing Chester was…uh, sit around and wait for some other free agent to become available. Or possibly draft a running back. Or hope Albert Young could step up and become a reliable third-down back. Turns out, there was another Plan B on the table, that wasn’t immediately evident. It involved converting wide receiver/punt returner Darius Reynaud to running [...]
