Brett Favre already had the silver hair and gimpy limbs of a grandfather, and now he has the actual grandchild, thanks to daughter Brittany. The new addition to the Favre family, Parker Brett, arrived April 2 according to the Old Gunslinger’s website. In case you were wondering, the baby weighed in at 7 lbs., 7 oz. After weeks of rumors, the Philadelphia Eagles have finally pulled the trigger on a Donovan McNabb trade. Yesterday they sent the face of their franchise to the Washington Redskins in exchange for a couple of draft picks. This comes as disappointing news to those Viking fans who still held out hope for a trade sending McNabb to Minnesota. Maybe these disappointed Viking fans shouldn’t be too disappointed though. The Vikings‘ offensive depth took a big hit when Chester Taylor bolted to join Jay Cutler, Mike Martz and the Bears. Plan A for replacing Chester was to sign LaDainian Tomlinson, but in the end, LT preferred the Jets.
