It wasn’t trash-talk when Lions #2 overall draft pick Ndamukong Suh named a certain (not-yet-confirmed-for-2010) Vikings quarterback as the NFL player he would most like to sack. It was simply an honest answer.
After all, what defensive lineman wouldn’t like to sack Brett Favre? As Suh himself said, “That would be a nice notch on my belt.”
And no, Suh made no mention of taking out Favre’s ankles, or putting an “X” on him or anything like that. So, there’s no reason for Visanthe Shiancoe to get all bent-out-of-shape, launch a Twitter feud, or make a crude poster of Osama Bin Laden saying “I’m Ndamukong Suh.”
My impression of Suh is that he is probably too smart to get sucked into a Twitter feud with Visanthe Shiancoe anyway.
Obviously, whether Suh gets a chance to sack Favre when the Lions and Vikings meet this year depends entirely on Favre coming back. Otherwise, Suh will be chasing Tarvaris Jackson. Not quite as exciting as lining up a future Hall-of-Famer, I imagine.
