Brett Favre Says 2010 Season Will be His Last

Don’t laugh, but Brett Favre just promised everyone in his press conference that the 2010 season, his 20th in the NFL, will be his last.

I’m sure this statement will not elicit a single groan, nor inspire a single sarcastic remark.

Video of the presser will be posted here as soon as I get my hands on some embed code.  Besides the retirement “promise,” the big talker is that Favre says his ankle doesn’t feel as good as he hoped, but he’s ready to roll despite the pain he knows he will experience.

That’s why he’s a 99 for toughness on Madden.
