The good news: Percy Harvin has been released from the hospital after his terrifying migraine episode, and is back with the team.
The bad news: Percy is at the facility in street clothes, and I don’t think anyone honestly knows when he will be able to practice again, let alone play.
I think it’s safe to say we will not see him on the field Sunday night against the 49ers.
Obviously, Brad Childress, the team doctors and Percy have a very tricky situation on their hands. Percy will probably seem fine for weeks at a time, and then out of nowhere…boom.
How exactly do you deal with something like that if you’re a football team?
You almost have no choice but to proceed like there’s nothing wrong, and just be ready. And make sure you’re well-stocked with wide receivers.
If you’re a Percy fan, all you can do is hold your breath.
