Who says Brad Childress lacks offensive creativity? What could be more inventive than this wacked-out and ultimately illegal trick play that I guess was supposed to end with Randy Moss throwing downfield but instead ended with Brett Favre - an ineligible receiver – catching the pass?
Clever and entertaining as this play was, all it actually did was set a stumbling offensive tone for the Vikings – a tone they were still struggling to change as of the early second quarter.
