The Vikings have a ton of guys listed on the injury report this week, but as things stand now, it appears safety Husain Abdullah, who suffered a concussion when his head went into Felix Jones‘ thigh during a tackle attempt on Sunday, is the only one who will be out for the Packer game.
Chris Cook is expected to make his return after his second meniscus tear of the season. Cook will not be starting though; instead, Asher Allen will get the start at right corner. Cook is expected to be the nickelback, and not Lito Sheppard who sort of got his butt handed to him by Dallas.
And now on to the ever-vexing center situation. John Sullivan, who has played in only 3 of 5 games this season thanks to a leg injury, has practiced this week and is expected to get back in there against Green Bay. However, Brad Childress has indicated that Jon Cooper will also see some snaps in the game. We’ll have to wait and see how that works out, but my guess is Sullivan ends up playing the bulk of the game unless he aggravates his injury.
Percy Harvin is also expected to play Sunday after his surprising appearance on the injury report with a hamstring. Harvin says his injury is nothing to worry about, and frankly, he doesn’t even know why he’s on the report.
