Bernard Berrian is Back at Practice

Bernard Berrian‘s troublesome groin has improved enough for the receiver to return to practice.  The groin issue kept Berrian out of Sunday’s game against the Bears, a game the Vikings lost 24-13, dropping them to 3-6 on the season.

Berrian was originally slated to start Sunday despite his groin soreness, but decided at the last minute that he would be unable to play.  This decision led to Berrian being roundly criticized, mostly by people who never thought he was any good to begin with.  Berrian, somewhat ill-advisedly, answered many of the negative commenters personally on Twitter.

Now Berrian gets a chance to respond to the “haters” in a more meaningful way:  by having a good week of practice and going out on Sunday and torching the Packers.  I’m skeptical that this will actually happen, but we’ll see.  He did have a good game – his first and so far only of the 2010 season – against Arizona.
