It appears not everyone on the Vikings is on-board with the decision to waive Randy Moss.  Jay Glazer just tweeted that his phone is “burning up from Vikings who are incredibly frustrated” by the move to send Moss packing.  What this means for head coach Brad Childress is anyone’s guess.  However, Glazer also tweeted this: Players liked Moss but guys were saying this season, nothing Chilly does surprises them. A little over an hour after Brad Childress claimed he didn’t think Randy Moss‘ critical post-game comments were a big deal, the Vikings have reportedly waived the receiver. Interestingly, Childress also mentioned during his presser that, rather than make Moss come back to Minnesota with the team, he allowed the receiver to stay in New England to visit with family.  Clearly, there was more going on there than Chilly just being a nice guy. One Brad Childress coaching move from yesterday’s painful loss to the Patriots warrants further discussion:  his decision to go for the touchdown instead of the field goal with a little over a minute left in the second quarter.
