A New Level of Craziness… Metrodome Roof Collapses

Just when you think the drama has subsided on the 2010 season and we can peacefully watch Leslie Frazier do an excellent job of righting the ship… Something even crazier happens.

Mother Nature has come out in full force, hitting the Minneapolis-St Paul area with up to 21 inches of snow and the Metrodome roof has collapsed. Looking at the pictures on KARE11.com it appears that the Teflon bubble atop the complex is not currently visible from the ground. This is the 3rd time the Metrodome has collapsed, however last occurred 24 years ago and wear and tear applies to all stadiums. It remains to be seen how much damage was done, but I’m guessing the game verses the New York Giants will have to be rescheduled again or moved to another location. For those saying TCF Stadium, the weather is anticipated to bring 10 below temperatures tomorrow night. Actually, maybe that could work. We could just break out the shovels and tell Brett Favre its Lambeau.
