Donovan McNabb's Wrist Injury "A Bruise"

We now have clarification as to the nature of Donovan McNabb‘s mysterious wrist ailment. Per Leslie Frazier, the injury is in fact “a bruise.” Said contusion was suffered in the preseason game against Dallas, says Frazier. The coach assures us that, unlike Peyton Manning‘s neck problem, the wrist bruise is “not an issue right now.”

So to sum up: McNabb’s injury a bruise. Got it playing Dallas. Not serious. Peyton Manning on the other hand…totally boned.

One additional practice note: Phil Loadholt and Letroy Guion both turned up missing when reporters arrived for the 20 minutes of practice they were allowed to see. Later we learned that both are dealing with family emergencies. Patrick Brown took Loadholt’s reps while Christian Ballard took Guion’s. Interestingly, D’Aundre Reed also got some defensive tackle reps with Guion out.

Is that interesting? Maybe, maybe not. Anyway…GO SAINTS!
