Adrian Peterson Leaves Vikings-Raiders Game With Ankle Injury

Adrian Peterson has been remarkably durable during his career despite his ferocious running style, but today that may have all caught up to him. While running for extra yardage early in the 2-7 Vikings’ more-or-less meaningless tilt with the Raiders, Peterson was tackled and had his ankle bend awkwardly under a defender. Peterson started getting up but quickly went to his knees. Trainers had to help Peterson off the field and he was ultimately driven to the locker room on a cart. We await an update on Peterson’s condition but for now his return to the game is questionable. All I can say as a Viking fan is…
