Vikings Sell Out Broncos Game, Avoiding Blackout

This is good news or bad news depending on how enthusiastic you are about watching the Vikings tangle with Tim Tebow and the Denver Broncos on Sunday. After announcing early in the week that they were 3,000 tickets away from a sell out, the Vikings on Thursday announced that the tickets are sold and the game will not be blacked out on local television.

For those keeping score at home, this extends the Vikings’ sell out streak to 142 games. Did you hear that Minnesota lawmakers? 142 straight sell outs. New stadium? Hello?

I have no idea if the presence of Tim Tebow helped sell those extra 3,000 tickets. But if it did? Thank you Tim Tebow and your good buddy Jesus.
