This monkey makes an interesting point. Rich people like Zygi Wilf have enough money to build their own stadiums. They shouldn’t need public financing. Then again, doesn’t the state benefit from the presence of a team like the Vikings? And does anyone out there really believe the Vikings can remain competitive while playing in a decrepit facility like the Metrodome? Therefore shouldn’t the state kick in at least part of the cost to build a new stadium and keep the Vikings from leaving for the greener pastures of Los Angeles?
In true Skip Bayless fashion, I challenge the monkey to a face-to-face debate. That monkey doesn’t have the guts to take me on!
