Adrian Peterson Has a Sprained Knee

It looked like Adrian Peterson suffered a catastrophic knee injury early in the third quarter of today’s game against the Redskins. The Vikings’ first statement on Peterson says the running back has suffered a sprained knee and will undergo an MRI.

It’s too early to speculate on the severity of Peterson’s injury. All we know for sure is, he won’t play next week against the Bears. Unless he really is Superman.
