A finalized schedule with dates and times and all that pertinent stuff will be along sometime in April. For now we only know the teams the Vikings will be facing next year as they attempt to rebound from a dismal at-least-12-loss season. Here’s how it breaks down:
Home: Green Bay, Chicago, Detroit, Arizona, San Francisco, Jacksonville, Tennessee, NFC South Team That Finishes Fourth (Tampa Bay)
Road: Green Bay, Chicago, Detroit, St. Louis, Seattle, Houston, Indianapolis, NFC East Team That Finishes Fourth (Washington)
How’s that look to you? Look easy? Hard? Ha…trick question. You don’t know if it looks easy or hard! Cause you don’t know which of those teams will be good next season. I’m assuming the Packers, Lions, Cardinals, Niners, Titans and Texans will all be pretty tough. And Indy could easily bounce back to playoff contention. And don’t sleep on Seattle if they replace Tarvaris Jackson with a real quarterback. And who knows about the Rams? If they hire Jon Gruden…
Oh God, am I really speculating on the difficulty of the Vikings’ schedule next year based on home and road opponents with no finalized dates and times? Someone stop me before I hurt myself!
