Drew Brees’ performance against the Vikings on Sunday wasn’t just brilliant, it was historically brilliant. According to the experts at NFL.com (via @DanBarreiroKFAN), Brees on Sunday became the first QB in NFL history with a game of 400+ yards, 5+ TDs and an 80%+ completion rate with no INTs. The Green Bay Packers are no longer undefeated after falling to the Kansas City Chiefs 19-14. Packer fans are no doubt disappointed that their dream of a perfect season has so cruelly fallen apart. The Vikings have been competitive in most of their games this year. The three glaring exceptions have been the blow out losses to the Bears and Packers, and today’s game against the Saints. The Saints have outgained the Vikings 222-7 through the air through the first half. By that number you’d expect New Orleans to be up by at least three touchdowns but that’s not the case.
