Kyle Rudolph and Visanthe Shiancoe Like Watching Tight Ends

A lot of interesting stuff happens on Twitter. Take last night. Visanthe Shiancoe and Kyle Rudolph were both watching the Patriots-Broncos game. Both were very impressed by the way the Pats used their tight ends to shred the Denver defense. So effusive were Shank and K-Rudy in their praise of the Patriots that…well, I don’t want to go drawing conclusions. I’ll just show the tweets and let you make up your own mind about possible deeper implications.

Shank likes it when teams utilize their tight ends heavy. Does he suspect there might be a link between heavy utilization of tight ends and making the playoffs? Again, I don’t want to go reading too much into these tweets. They’re just tweets. Little, innocent tweets.

Just two tight ends enjoying the fine art of offensive football. No dis of Bill Musgrave and his alleged under-utilization of tight ends was intended or should be inferred. Right?
