Harvin, who is making a habit of these twitter announcements, postponed the surgery originally scheduled for Tuesday, April 10 due to a family emergency.

Harvin is reportedly getting bone spurs removed out of his shoulder, although, Leslie Frazier (in classic NFL style) has only revealed that it is minor surgery on some “soreness.”

He had a little damage around the AC joint,” Frazier said via 1500ESPN.com. “He had an AC sprain during the season and he continued to play and just created some soreness there. So, they’ve got to go in and do a little arthroscopic work and clean it up a little bit.

The recovery time for this kind of surgery is about three weeks, which means Harvin will be ready for OTAs which start on May 29.
