Jarius Wright Leaves Rookie Minicamp After “Knock to the Head”

Jarius Wright’s rookie minicamp may already be over after the just-drafted receiver suffered what Leslie Frazier described as a “knock to the head” during practice drills. Frazier says Wright began vomiting after his knock and was excused from the remainder of the day’s activities. Whether Wright will return for the remaining two days of the camp is yet to be determined.

The speedy 5-10 Wright is often compared to another Vikings receiver, Percy Harvin. But we thought those comparisons referred to his size and physical attributes. We didn’t realize he was also susceptible to practice dings and vomiting like Percy. Those guys should have plenty to talk about when real camp starts.
