Vikings Training Camp 2012: Percy Harvin Leaves Practice With Injury, Returns

Momentary horror for Viking fans this afternoon. As multiple beat writers reported, Percy Harvin was forced to leave the first full-pad practice of training camp with an apparent injury to his hand or wrist area. Harvin was in the locker room for a short time but returned later with his helmet on. A trainer was seen taping his fingers and he began catching practice passes. The final verdict from Viking Update: probable jammed finger. Percy fine. Practice continues.

Other news: Matt Kalil got his first real work against Jared Allen. The first session went well, with Kalil holding his own. But Jared was obviously toying with the rookie cause in the second session he started owning him. Matt Kalil now knows how J’Marcus Webb feels.
