Vikings Training Camp Buzz: Kyle Rudolph

Kyle Rudolph is getting buzz of the good variety so far in camp. NFL Network’s Michelle Beisner said of the second-year tight end (via Rotoworld): “From what I’m hearing inside, it’s Kyle Rudolph that might be the MVP of training camp. They’re really impressed with him. What he’s done and his work ethic the last five days.”

Rudolph is not only working hard, he’s also reportedly developing some nice chemistry with Christian Ponder on the practice field. We’re a long way from knowing if any of this will translate into regular season game performance of course, but so far the signs are positive. We do know Rudolph has loads of talent and if Ponder can get the ball to him, the former Golden Domer should quickly become one of the top pass catching tight ends in the league.
