Adrian Peterson Appears in Court, Pre-Trial Dates Set

Adrian Peterson got a day off from rehab work Monday to appear in a Harris County court, but unfortunately he did not receive the good news he was looking for. The resisting arrest charges from July 7 aren’t going to be dropped, at least not yet, and Peterson will have to go back to court on Sept. 17 and Nov. 15. Looks like the Texas people are committed to dragging this thing out. To hear Rusty Hardin tell it, they have no case. Then again he is Adrian’s lawyer. What do you expect him to say?

This story will continue to annoy us like a pesky little gnat until some kind of resolution is reached. Is Adrian nervous? He was reportedly signing autographs in the courtroom. Sounds like a guy who’s pretty secure in his innocence or at least his lawyer’s ability to get the whole thing dropped.
