The Friday injury report is out ahead of the Jags game and Adrian Peterson is on it. He’s listed as questionable. Game-time decision, which is what we’ve been hearing all along anyway. So really nothing new to report on AD. The Vikings are still making up their minds whether to use him.

There are three players listed out for this game however. Marvin Mitchell, Andrew Sendejo and Jarius Wright are all down with ankle injuries. None of those three guys was able to practice this week, making Leslie Frazier’s decision easier. With Wright gone and Jerome Simpson suspended, the Vikings receiver corps is down to four men. Michael Jenkins will reportedly start opposite Percy Harvin. And then there’s Devin Aromashodu as a back-up split-end and Stephen Burton as a back-up flanker. And that’s it.

A bunch of other guys landed on the report and are listed as probable. These include: Robert Blanton, John Carlson, Letroy Guion, Geoff Schwartz and Marcus Sherels. Leslie Frazier says Sherels will be the #1 punt returner and will back-up Harvin on kick return duties. The Vikings will likely roll with only two back-up offensive linemen active for the game as they are still getting newly-acquired Mark Asper up to speed. CB A.J. Jefferson will likely also be deactivated for the same reason.

As for the Jaguars, the one big player listed as out for them is OLB Daryl Smith who’s dealing with a groin. CB Derek Cox will be listed as doubtful. Justin Blackmon looks like a go after having some ankle issues.
